Name Your Space With Personalized Wall Art

Kids love to see their name in print! From the time we find out that we are pregnant the search for the right name begins. We go back and forth from a family name, a unique name, a christian based name, or just one we love, not to mention having to choose one from each sex. The decision becomes the center of conversation with friends and family, nevermind all the unsolicited recommendations you get. I know from personal experience that there is no better feeling than making that final decision and moving on. So, I have designed some items for you to show off that name through my personalized wall hangings. Whether you choose to display an initial on a design or spell the whole name out, it is a great feeling to walk into a room and see that special name in print.

I'm Blessed!

I am so blessed with fabulous customers who make what I do a rewarding experience! I strive to make sure that every item that Hangupsbyteri designs is top quality and completed with perfection. Thank you to those who take the time to appreciate just how much time and labor goes in to each of my pieces and who also take time out of their busy day to write a testimonial on my behalf. Below is a recent comment from another pleased customer.
Thank you Farah!
......IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR UNIQUE ITEMS FOR YOUR NURSERY, LOOK NO FURTHER, HANGUPSBYTERI IS YOUR ANSWER!!!!!........I had been looking for art pieces for my nursery all over the internet.. and then one day came across Teri's website. I purchased a frame, the baby foot box, and she even made me a custom plaque!! Everything was absolutely adorable and every item that she made was perfectly done and flawless. She also had every item done very quickly which was a surprise because usually custom items take a very long time to be completed. Teri also took the time to talk to me about color schemes and which items would look best in my new nursery. I appreciate all the hard work that she put in for me. I will definelty be coming back to purchase more items!!!!!!

Dog Feeder

When I was asked to participate last winter in the first annual "Art in the Atrium" art show hosted by the Virginia Beach Contemporary Art Center, I felt honored. Who wouldn't want to be surrounded by some of the best artists on the east coast while being served champaigne and appetizers the entire weekend? The show itself was amazing, but more importantly the artists I met were incredibly talented and interesting. I spent a good part of the weekend just appreciating how artistically gifted so many were. I will have to say, however, the lady that approached my booth around closing time Saturday night impressed me the most. She loved the solid wood dog feeder shown above but wanted it made smaller for her yorkie, Lizzy. She said she would be back the next morning to pick it up. Of course I could not get home fast enough, only to spend the next 8 hours designing, cutting, sanding, painting, etc. her custom order. When asked by friends and neighbors if she had paid for her order or put a deposit down I informed them that she had offered but I did not feel that was necessary as she seemed incredibly genuine and her word to come the next day was good enough for me. I am a trusting individual, almost to a fault, but thank goodness she kept her promise and came back. What I learned in the process was that the next time I take a custom order I will be a bit more business saavy and require some sort of deposit. I got lucky! Not only did she buy the dog feeder, but she has purchased other items from me for gifts. Below is her testimonial. Thank you Dede!

.....My first purchase from HangupsbyTeri was in November of 2005. It was a dog bone dish I bought for my dog. I am a stickler for detail and quality. I have since purchased one of the baby foot boxes for a friend and it was a huge hit ! I found the quality and attention to detail top notch. Teri takes a lot of time and effort to make each piece unique. She holds a high set of standards for her work and I admire her fine craftsmanship. I can honestly say I recommend everything I have seen from HangupsbyTeri.

Sincerely,

Dede Schmidt

Children's Decorative Book Bin

Alas, a fun and whimsical polka dot book storage bin designed and built with your child's safety in mind. It is such a privilege to sit with your child and read books to them on your lap or sitting close by, but as they grow they like to look at books themselves and use their own imagination to tell a story. This elegant book bin is perfect for the nursery, and as they grow it allows them to sit next to their books and take them in and out themselves without the worry of climbing book shelves that could topple over. There is no better way to teach your child how to take care of their books and place them back in the bin for safe keeping. We also designed this with quality in mind. This piece is made with solid poplar wood and the highest quality furniture paint. This heirloom design was built to last generation after generation.
